The purpose of the nervous system is to send signals to your body for control of movement, breathing, and overall body function. The nervous system is split into two systems:
The Central Nervous System and the Peripheral Nervous System. The CNS and PNS work together critically & completely synergistic with each other. When trauma or injury occurs in thPNS & CNS, it can cause a lot of damage to the body & your overal function. The PNS has more ability to heal than the CNS, but miracles are always possible. Think of your nervous system as a tree. The trunk is the spinal cord, the bif beautiful canopy is the brain, the roots and branches are mayne branches of your nervous system, all working together to make a beautiful functioning living system; YOU.
What is a Nerve? Nerves are similar to electrical wires, and they are made of fatty substances, connective tissues and other proteins to carry information from your brain, through your spinal cord to your entire body through electricity. Nerves are made of cells called neurons. There is a connective tissue that surrounds the nerve, a connective tissue that surrounds a bundle of neurons, and a connective tissues that surrounds a singular neuron. Myelin is a fatty substance that surrounds some nerves to help speed up nerve signals.
The Central Nervous System: It takes in information from your body, your aura and your environment, interprets it in your brains, decides what to send to the PNS.
The Peripheral Nervous System: Governs the Somatic & Autonomic Nervous Systems, relays the information from the CNS and moves it from the spinal cord to the entire body. In a healthy aura & body, if one area of your body is recieving information, the entire rest of your body is aware of it and will react or remain neutral.
Somatic Nervous System: Nerves that carry sensory information & motor signals to and from the spinal cord & the brain. They travel through spinal nerves, along the spinal cord.
Autonomic Nervous System: This system is divided into two systems: Sympathetic Nervous System & the Parasympathetic Nervous System.
This system is what drives breathing, digestion, blood flow, the things you do that you dont need to be in total conscious control of. The ANS also is divided into 2 other systems: the Sympathetic Nervous System & the Parasympathetic Nervous System.
SNS: Stimluates and revves up your nervous system, known as your fight of flight response. Pupils & lungs dialate, heart rate accelorates, slows digestion although at times can hyper stimulate digestion, constricts blood vessels.
PSNS: A state of relaxation and optimal function of your body. Known as the rest and digest state. Pupils and airways are constricted, regular heartbeat or slows or slows down heartbeat depending on if youre in a meditative state or not. Comfortable digestive movement.
